Marketing leads come in various ways, but the most common way is to use
a capture page that takes people directly to your autoresponder, where they
will receive a series of emails from you. These leads are showing interest in
your offer. They will read your emails, and then hopefully will join your program.
Another way to get leads is to buy them outright. This has pros and cons. The pros
are that you have an immediate audience of your emails. They might or might not be
interested in your offers but most likely not. You can be surprised though, and get a
sign up or 2 from this method. The cons are that you have to go through many emails
to get that lead that will take your offer. It also can be expensive.
There is a way to get leads that I am experimenting with now and will keep you
posted on how it turns out. It is a system where you get 100-200 leads per day
and you send to them from the system. You can also purchase email scripts that
are proven to get click throughs. This is a fun system to work with and I am really
expecting to get some sign ups from it. Will let you know.
