It doesn't matter how good your programs are that you are promoting, or what good
intentions you have about marketing, if you don't exercise diligence you will not get
very far. You must pursue your marketing with diligence, and be prepared to work
at it. Set up for yourself daily tasks that must be completed each day. As you do these
daily tasks you will be building your business. Little by little, step by step you will
see it coming together and start to bring results. Be patient, it takes time!
Make sure to schedule breaks throughout the day so you will be rested as you do your
work. Take time for prayer, TV, and phone talking time. These breaks are very
important and make it possible for your business to flourish and prosper. Balance
is the proper word for this, as all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. You don't
want your work to grow dull, you want to stay sharp and full of energy. Also, don't
work too many hours each day. I start early in the morning around 6:00 AM, so my
day ends at 5:30. I close up shop completely until the next morning. This gives me
time to relax and enjoy my evening before going to bed fairly early.
