Trackers are essential in learning what advertising venues are working for you,
and most importantly, which ones are not working for you. Trackers can save
you hundreds of dollars in poor advertising sources. By all means make sure to
add a tracker to your links for mailers, and for traffic exchanges. You will be able
to tell what is bringing you the most hits, and where you are getting the most
conversions. Tracking is fun! Make sure to use a good tracker though.
I have used one that is popular but found that it did not work for me, and actually
got a refund for it. The one I am using now is very good, and it has an awesome
pay plan within the system as well. You might as well make some money from
your tracker. The one I am using is called So Many Hits. Try it and see, if you
follow the instructions on the website you will be amazed at the results.
Pay special attention to mailers in your tracking, as they can be either really good,
or they can be a total waste of money. I have honestly found better results with
traffic exchanges. You will see for yourself though as you start tracking.
